Bass Lake Ranch Members Corporation
On January 26, 2002, there was an organizational meeting of the Board of Directors of the then Bass Lake Ranch Christian Development Corporation to form the BASS LAKE RANCH MEMBERS CORPORATION, a non-profit corporation
"to be operated exclusively for the promotion of social welfare under the provisions of Section 501(c) (4) of the Internal Revenue Code and its regulations, as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended, the net proceeds of which shall be devoted exclusively to charitable, educational, or recreational purposes including but not limited to the following:
(a) To provide for the periodic inspection, maintenance, preservation and construction or replacement, as necessary, of all common areas, including streets, of Bass Lake Ranch;
(b) To fix, levy, collect and enforce payment by any lawful means, all assessments and/or charges upon Members for the purpose of meeting all expenses required to fulfill the obligations of the corporation;
(c) To promote the health, safety, welfare, common benefit and enjoyment of available facilities within Bass Lake Ranch by the public at large and members of the corporation."
In 2009, the corporation split with the donation of the RV park to a new non-profit corporation, Bass Lake Christian Retirement Community. Both now exist as separate entitles but united by the same vision and statement of faith.
